Hello. Sorry for not knowing enough French to write.
I tried to use the -arp_mac_destination argument, but it appears not to work. I don't know the exact form to use for specifying a destination MAC address.
Tried -arp_mac_destination 11-22-33-44-55-66, -arp_mac_destination 112233445566, tried lowercase and uppercase when necessary, but it always displays "ARP frame was sent from <some random MAC> to FF-FF-FF-FF-FF-FF with 57 bytes".
Could anybody offer some help, please? All I need is to find the computer/user name of someone who's constantly trying to spoof my IP (I'm on a LAN). I don't even know if that's possible by using arpflood, but I don't know any other tool. Please advise.
Merci. |

Hi Drugwash,
The correct argument is :
arpflood -arp_mac_destination 12-34-56-78-90-11
When you specify the arp_mac_destination, it's normal that your PC send a frame with FF-FF-FF-FF-FF-FF MAC_DESTINATION.
Look the ARP header and you will understand. For sample, the Argument -mac_source and -arp_mac_source are different.
You want change the Mac destination in the Ethernet header, but arp_mac_destination argument change the Mac_destination in the ARP header.
